Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit, TR4A IRS – TR6

Description

The Good Parts Rear Disc Brake kit replaces the original drum brakes with Wilwood four piston calipers and solid rotors to increase the braking performance.

• Calipers are available with 1.38” pistons for safe use with original spec front calipers and pads or 1.75” pistons for use with Good Parts Front Brake kits or similar front brake upgrades.
• Uses 10.13″ x 0.395″ solid rotors.
• Customers can choose standard smooth rotors or upgrade to drilled and slotted rotors to improve braking performance by venting gasses produced during hard braking.
• Includes custom mechanical parking brake calipers with semi-metallic pads. These calipers are much more effective than the original parking brake.
• Includes new 3/8” hub mounting studs for increased strength in a known weak area.
• Fits with stock wire wheels, and most aftermarket alloy wheels. Stock steel wheels require additional 3/8” spacers (See Fit Note below)
• Available in standard silver/gray hard anodized finish and red or black powder coated finish.
• Brake pads are not included with the brake kit and must be purchased separately.  Customers can order the compound that best fits their intended use.

• Mounting hardware
• Braided stainless steel flex-lines to connect from trailing arm to frame

Whats NOT included:

• Brake pads

Fit Note:  Requires two additional 3/8″ wheel spacers (SKU 810) to fit original steel wheels.  Longer wheel studs must also be installed to accommodate the spacers.  Good Parts offers wheel studs to fit Good Parts Rear Hubs and original rear hubs.  Wire and alloy wheels fit with no spacer.
