A good harmonic damper is critical for proper life and performance of the Triumph six cylinder engine. This damper is designed to replace the non-damping solid aluminum crank pulley used with the Moss supercharger kit that uses a 4-groove belt.
The pulley on this damper is 13% larger in diameter than the Moss pulley so the speed of all driven components will be increased by 13%. Increasing the speed of the supercharger will increase boost pressure. Make sure your engine is capable of handling the increased boost pressure before installing this damper.
It may be necessary to re-position the idler pulley for proper belt fitment.
