Upgrade front braking with Wilwood four piston calipers. Available in two piston sizes to tune braking to your preference. Smaller pistons in the front calipers give you shorter pedal travel, firm pedal feel with more braking effort required and bias more braking to the rear. Larger pistons in the front calipers offer lighter pedal feel but slightly more pedal travel and bias more braking to the front. Too much rear brake bias may cause dangerous rear brake lock-up. Caliper kits are offered for the stock size 10.82" x .5" solid rotors, Wilwood 10.75 x .81" vented rotors and for Wilwood 11.0" x .81" vented rotors. The stock steel wheels do not fit with the 11.0" rotors. Kits are priced without brake pads to allow your choice of pads. Some selection of Wilwood pads are listed below. WARNING: Optimum braking is achieved with the correct balance of front to rear bias. Too much braking power in the front reduces overall braking because the rear is contributing less. Too much rear braking is very dangerous because rear lock-up can cause the car to spin. TEST YOUR BRAKES in a safe place where there is no danger to (or from) other people or vehicles BEFORE driving on the street.
