Does your TR6 clutch pedal feel stiff or jumpy? Much of the effort applied to your clutch pedal is lost to friction. Worn fork pins and release bearing carrier will aggravate the problem. Good Parts new clutch operating mechanism uses roller bearings at the cross shaft and fork pins and an externally greaseable bronze bushing in the release bearing carrier to eliminate friction and wear at these critical areas. Includes heavy duty release bearing and adjustable push rod with spherical rod end. The holes in the bell housing must be enlarged for use of roller bearings for cross shaft. Good Parts has a reamer(listed below) to loan for enlarging the holes. The reamer is powered by reversible heavy duty 1/2" drill supplied by user. Stock bushings may be used in lieu of roller bearings to avoid enlarging holes.
This is a deposit for the loan of a reamer kit designed to enlarge the cross shaft holes in the trans bell housing to 1.0" to fit the roller bearings included with the clutch mechanism kit above. The full amount of the deposit is refunded upon its return in good condition within two weeks of receipt. Rental beyond two weeks is $25 per week. The reamer is powered by a heavy duty 1/2" drill supplied by the customer.
